Propylene Glycol (PG) other names 1,2-Propanediol; 1,2-Dihydroxypropane; Methyl ethyl glycol (MEG); Methylethylene glycol; is a viscous, colorless liquid which is nearly odorless. PG is hygroscopic (attracts water), has low toxicity and outstanding stability, as well as high flash and boiling points.

3. Product application

Propylene Glycol (PG) is used in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and a wide range of other practical applications. Pharmaceutical-grade and industrial-grade are the two grades used.

Adhesives, Sealants and Coatings

Alkyd Resins for Paint and Coatings

Latex Paints

UV-Curable Resins

Unsaturated Polyester Resins

Urethanes

Aircraft Deicing Fluids

Heat Transfer / Thermal Fluids (with a suitable inhibitor)

Hydraulic and Brake Fluids

Coolants and Antifreeze


4. Packing & Delivery

Standard export neutral packing in 215KG/drum, 20’FCL=80drums=17.2MT; 40’FCL=23.65MT.

Packing in ISO tank container of 24MT each.
